MIRANDA-TOMÁS LANDER//Candidate Elio Serrano reaffirms his commitment to governance

The candidate championed by the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar (GPPSB) for the governor of Miranda state, Elio Serrano, highlighted his commitment to the People for the recovery of basic services and reaffirmed that power will reside in the People.

As part of the start of the electoral campaign on May 25, Serrano was accompanied by the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

The candidate, a native of Miranda state, said: “I am the same one who has worked in this territory for many years (...) I'm the one you knew as the teacher's son and the worker's son, just like all of you really. We know what we have to do because we suffer from the same circumstances,” he said.

Serrano emphasized the need to restore the rights of the population. “We know education to be able to strengthen the issue of health, likewise the issue of public services is an issue that has created the entire population of Miranda, however, we are committed to what we are going to seek the solution of water to all the territories of the state of Miranda.”
