MIRANDA-TOMÁS LANDER//Pueblo Mirandino expressed their support for the candidate Elio Serrano (+photos)

This Tuesday, April 29, the Town of Miranda held a large mobilization in the entity's Tomás Lander municipality to express their support for the governor's candidate for the Great Patriotic Pole, Elio Serrano.

Serrano highlighted his commitment to the People for the recovery of basic services and reaffirmed that power will reside in all Mirandinos and Mirandinas. “I am the same one who has worked in this territory for many years (...) I'm the one you knew as the teacher's son and the worker's son, just like all of you really. We know what we have to do because we suffer from the same circumstances,” he said.

The activity was also accompanied by the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, who called on all revolutionary candidates to take to the streets to listen to the People.

“You (the candidates) have to assume that responsibility with the People, for the streets every day; let the People tell us what they want, because that's what they put us for”, while stating that “it is the People who resolve, what is new will be the People, they are born in the People, it is the People who lead, the People are the ones who command and we are some soldiers,” he said.
