A day of patching and repairing the asphalt road at kilometers 13 and 14 of the Pan-American highway, towards Los Teques- Caracas, was held this Tuesday by the Mayor's Office of the municipality of Los Salias, with the support of the Government of Miranda, through the entity's Autonomous Institute of Infrastructure, Works and Services (INFRAMIR).

According to information issued by the Government, the works were carried out at the height of the La Auxiliadora Service Station, where a pipeline repair work is also being carried out by the company Hidroven.

Specifically, approximately 13 tons of hot asphalt mixture were placed, and the irregularities were eliminated in these sections, which were the tasks carried out by the technical team of both units. “This joint deployment will eliminate pavement faults, in order to improve user safety,” said the Government.

“The Pan-American Highway is a vital artery for Miranda and for connecting the entire country, so we don't hesitate to support the Mayor's Office of Los Salias to resolve these critical points immediately, following instructions from Governor Elio Serrano. Our goal is to guarantee the right to safe mobility”, Luís Acosta.
