The Aragua Cultural Mission, with the support of the National Museums Foundation, the Center for Cultural Diversity and the Mayor's Office of the Bolívar municipality, successfully inaugurated the Regional Poetic Gallery: Essence of Aragueñity, a Journey in Colors, Chapter II, in the parish of San Mateo.

The event was attended by boys and girls from various municipalities of the entity and premiered the social program “My grandmother told me”, which seeks to honor and preserve oral traditions, attended by Mrs. Aurora Sánchez de Padrón, a 102-year-old pioneer who shared her experiences with the attendees, offering an emotional moment full of history.

Also present was the poet Henry Colmenares, from the National School of Poetry, who recited poems inspired by the cultural richness of the region, which was received with great enthusiasm by the boys and girls, accompanied by their godparents.

The opening ceremony, which took place in the Heroes District of San Mateo, was divided into several phases. After welcoming the participants, the event was attended by Father Ángel Fernández, the delegate of the Center for Diversity in Aragua, Derwis Rodríguez, responsible for the curatorship and technical assembly of the exhibition, Jocelyn Lugo.

This gallery is not only a space for art, but also a testimony to the effort to bring joy, tradition and culture to every corner of the state, promoting the well-being and development of Aragüeña's children through the arts.
