A total of 1,000 Portuguese people will benefit from cataract surgeries and pre-operative strabismus consultations during a new day of care at Misión Milagro.

According to information published by the newspaper Últimas Noticias, the day began on Monday, February 23 and will be extended throughout the week at the Baraure Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI), in Araure.

In this regard, it became known that the day treated 40 patients from the municipalities of Agua Blanca, Araure and Acarigua (Páez), who underwent surgery on its first day.

In addition, children and adolescents with strabismus were evaluated for surgical treatment on the following days.
