Mision Milagro develops surgical day in Portuguesa

A total of 318 patients were successfully operated on through the Miracle Mission, which carried out a day in the Portuguese state to treat cataracts and pterygium free of charge.

The patients treated are residents of the 14 municipalities of the state and were operated on between the last week of February at the Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI) Baraure, Araure.

“In March we are going to have more consultations, more tests and more surgeries for and for the good life of our people,” announced the first lady of the entity, María Gil.

In addition to the operations, 3,059 ophthalmological tests were performed and 437 patients were evaluated, according to a state press release.
