Misión Nevado will treat pets in Ocumare de la Costa de Aragua

With the firm intention of guaranteeing the welfare of companion animals and consolidating animal protection policies in the entity, the Bolivarian Government of Aragua, in a joint action with the Mayor's Office of the Ocumare municipality of the Gold Coast, will hold a great full day of the Nevado Mission this weekend.
The operation will take place on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 June, mobilizing a multidisciplinary team of veterinary medicine professionals to offer completely free health services to the canine and feline population of the Aragüan coast, details a local press release.
In accordance with the official schedule established to maximize reach in the jurisdiction, the deployment will take place on Friday, June 12, in the El Playón sector, with the Multipurpose Court as its meeting point, and Saturday, June 13, in the Town of Ocumare, where the facilities of the David Concepción Stadium will be enabled to receive the furry.
During both days, attendees will be able to access a portfolio of free services that include general veterinary consultation, vaccination schedules, nail cutting and ear cleaning.
In addition, the day will transcend clinical care by incorporating an educational axis focused on guidance on responsible animal ownership, a key tool for mitigating abandonment and promoting public health.
Mayor Wilmer Leal extends the invitation to all residents of the municipality to bring their pets to care centers.
