With regard to the actions led by the National Government to treat families affected by the rains that occurred in Cumanacoa, Sucre state, the mobile medical surgical hospital of the National Directorate of Health of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), was installed in the region.

The unit will carry out low and medium complexity operations, said William Meneses, the single health authority in the state of Sucre, adding that the military hospital will be installed in the Montesina jurisdiction, until Friday, July 19.

Among the pathologies that will be treated, bilateral inguinal hernias, varicocele, hydroceles, lipomas, phimosis, and other surgical procedures stand out. In addition, dentistry services will be provided, laboratories and X-rays are also provided to the population, he said.

Meneses indicated that they estimate operating between 25 and 30 patients a day, to treat approximately 150 people in total.
