Monagas: Bolivarian Government reactivated drinking water service in Barrancas del Orinoco

The Bolivarian Government of the state of Monagas, through the mayor's office of the Sotillo municipality, re-established drinking water service in the Simón Bolívar community.
In this regard, José Gregorio Maldonado, municipal president, reported that the Aguas de Sotillo team carried out cleaning and extraction work. In addition, a 20 hp pump was installed, which benefits 500 families.
“This action is essential to guarantee access to drinking water, an essential right for all. We continue to work to improve the quality of life of our citizens and ensure that every home in Sotillo has the service it deserves,” said the mayor.
Marco Idrogo, head of the social enterprise Aguas de Sotillo, indicated that they will continue to monitor the operation of the system to ensure its effectiveness and continuous operation in the distribution of drinking water in every corner of this important community in Monagua.
