Monagas: Local government activated two pumps to collect water in Santa Bárbara de Tapirín

The director of Public Services also stressed that work will continue to ensure that the inhabitants of Santa Barbara have a water supply

The Bolivarian Government of Monagas, through the Mayor's Office of Santa Bárbara, in order to improve access to drinking water, activated two pumps to collect water in the municipality of Santa Bárbara de Tapirín.


In this regard, Pedro Muñoz, director of Public Services of the municipality, indicated that this achievement was possible thanks to the coordination carried out between Mayor Carmen Tillero with President Nicolás Maduro Moros and Governor Ernesto Luna.


Specifically, it was known that the first pump, located in the Gabaldón sector, has a pumping capacity of 17 liters per second and will benefit more than 440 families. While the second, which supplies the territory of Chacaito, covers around 150 families with a pumping of 5.8 liters per second.
