Monagas: Pozo Amarillo indigenous community received medical day

Inhabitants of the Pozo Amarillo indigenous community, Piar municipality in Monagas state, were treated with a medical day carried out by the Ministry for Health (MPPPS) and the Government.
In this regard, 243 treatments were carried out in the areas of General Medicine, Pediatrics, immunization, yellow fever screening and family counseling, among others. In addition, 285 essential drugs were delivered.
“The director of the Piar Comprehensive Community Health Area (Asic), Briceida Granado, thanked the support of Governor Ernesto Luna, the professionals of the National Public Health System (SPNS), the team from the Secretariat of Social Development, the State Health Institute (InsaMonagas), the Department of Indigenous Care of the Monagas State (DAIEM); the mayor's office of the Piar municipality, the Regional Coordination of Indigenous Health, the Asic Piar, and the Ministry for the Protection of Indigenous Peoples (MINPPI); as well as representatives of the Piar municipality, the Regional Coordination of Indigenous Health, the Asic Piar, and the Ministry for the Protection of Indigenous Peoples (MINPPI); as well as representatives of the Piar municipality TransMonagas” , reported the Government.
