More than 1,200 producers have been registered in the Miranda agricultural census

A total of 1,273 producers have been registered in the agricultural census that takes place in the Barlovento, Valles del Tuy, Altos Mirandinos and Metropolitan areas of the state of Miranda.

In this sense, 973 are new producers, while 300 updated their status during these registration days.

For his part, the Secretary of Food of Miranda, Miguel Marín, indicated that this census seeks to characterize and identify agricultural producers in the Miranda entity, in order to generate updated statistics that allow them to be served based on their needs.

According to what was published in the Miranda Governorate press, this process will last four months to cover the entire entity and try to certify about 10,000 producers for 234 additional days.
