More than
14,000 medical and food services were offered in the state of Mérida during full days, according to information
published on the web portal of the newspaper Última Noticias.
According to the information, 11 institutions, including national, regional
and municipal entities, participated in the comprehensive social days held in
18 of the 23 municipalities of the entity.
In this
regard, it became known that general,
pediatric, ophthalmic, obstetric, dental and nutritional consultation services were provided;
drug delivery, care for older adults and young people; legal advice.
The governor of the state, Arnaldo Sánchez,
from the central activity carried out in the commune of Páramo Revolución 2015, Cardenal Quintero
municipality (Santo
Domingo), confirmed that this effort is part of a massive deployment
that covers the 23 municipalities of the state, encompassing 240 communal circuits, with
the objective of “continuing to strengthen social care, as taught by our liberating father Simón Bolívar and
our Commander Chávez: aiming for the supreme
social happiness”.
“We are standing today, understanding that we are Venezuelans and Venezuelans willing to continue working for our people. With love and peace, we will continue to guarantee the social care, security and protection of all our people, as guided by the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez,” he added.
