The Minister of Popular Power for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez, announced the publication of the results corresponding to the second phase of the Venezuelan Astronomy Olympics 2026.

“We are proud to announce that the results of the state phase of the 2nd Edition of the Venezuelan Astronomy Olympics 2026 are now available, an initiative that is consolidating itself as a space for meeting, learning and projection for the country's young scientific talent,” said Jiménez, reported the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology.

In this second phase, he explained that a total of 1,521 students from different states of the country will participate, who will take up the academic challenge with enthusiasm and dedication.

He stressed that this initiative is part of the educational policies promoted by the Bolivarian Government, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Popular Power for Education, to strengthen academic and scientific training from an early age.

The official results can be consulted through the portal of the Ministry of People's Power for Science and Technology, where the list of qualifiers for the next stage of the competition is available.

In the state phase of the 2nd Edition of the Venezuelan Astronomy Olympiad, nearly 10,000 boys, girls and young people from all over the country participated.
