a series of cultural activities to consolidate the entity as the country's artistic epicenter.
“This show was promoted by our
governor Rafael Lacava, who, seeing the massive participation in
previous editions of the Arturo Michelena Salon, encouraged us to open this exclusive space
for illustrators,” he said.
In this regard, he extended his invitation to visual
artists from all over the country to participate in the 67th Arturo
Michelena Hall, whose reception of works began on April 8 and will end on May 19.
“In the 65th edition, in 2023,
we broke the participation record. Last year we had close to a thousand participants,
and this year we hope to exceed this number, this is Carabobo's moment as an artistic
powerhouse,” he said.
Among the announcements, the
holding of the 20th Venezuelan International Book Fair (FILVEN), which

that Carabobo will once again host this important cultural event,
which he described as a true festival of thought, speech and art

In addition, he mentioned that the fair will have
a special program for the little ones on the “Nancy Bus”,
with storytelling, educational activities, music, poetry and much more.
In turn, he thanked the public for the resounding success of the exhibition “Reverón, Soto, Otero”, which received more than 25,000 visitors in just one month.
