More than 1,600 people participated in the Carnivals 2025 5K Marathon

This Sunday, March 2, more than 1,600 people participated in the 5K Marathon on the Paseo Los Ilustre de Los Próceres, which was held as part of the program offered by the Caracas International Tourist Carnivals Happy in Peace and Joy 2025.

In that sense, according to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the athlete Yonny Pozas was the winner of the competition where he achieved a time of 14 minutes and 53 seconds.

“I am an athlete for the national team and I can say that it was a very fast, beautiful race with a wonderful audience. It's months of training, of dieting, but happy to achieve the results,” he said.

The race circuit was on the Paseo La Nacionalidad (Los Illustress-Los Próceres) and the start was made at the height of the Skate Park. During the tour, there were two hydration points for runners, a recovery area and a cloakroom awning.

It is important to note that this event was organized by the Mayor's Office of Caracas and that it will award the winners by category and genre, and there will be several surprises.
