The exhibition “Carriers: Memories of a People” has been visited by 18,780 people since its inauguration at the Museum of Culture of the State of Carabobo, consolidating itself as a space for the dissemination and preservation of the most representative cultural manifestations of the entity.
The exhibition brings together heritage expressions such as The Shepherds of San Joaquín, the Dancing Devils of Patanemo, the May Cross, the Hammock Dance, the Burras and Burriquitas, the Carabobeño joropo and the festivities of San Juan Bautista, among other traditions that are part of the regional identity.
The first lady of Carabobo, Nancy de Lacava, highlighted that the exhibition has been significantly attended by students, teachers, parents and representatives from schools, high schools and universities, who have come to the museum to learn about the cultural wealth of the state.
“We are extremely happy because we recently celebrated the inauguration of this beautiful exhibition, which so far has had more than 18,000 visitors, which shows the great interest of the people in preserving our artistic manifestations,” he said.
De Lacava also pointed out that the exhibition allows visitors to get closer to the diversity of the Carabobeño cultural heritage, characterized by a sense of community and the transmission of knowledge from generation to generation, thus contributing to the safeguarding of the region's cultural heritage.
