During the Maturín Carnival, the parade was marked by the joy and color of the more than 25 troupes and 20 floats, in which children and groups of older adults participated, who showed the true spirit of the celebration.

Also, on this third day of Carnival parades, it offered a spectacular trip to the past, with the participation of legendary “Carnival Makers” who continue to carry the passion of this traditional Carnival festival, according to the Última Noticias website.

In addition, at least 50 performances of individual costumes were paraded, including both children and young people and adults, making it clear that the Maturín Carnival is a party for all ages. The “Manicera”, which decades ago began selling peanuts in fashion shows, has become an icon of celebration.

After the parade ended, the attendees also went to the Concha Acústica to follow the third day of concerts, where they enjoyed the greatest exponent of romantic vallenato Felipe Peláez.

In the same way, they enjoyed regional talent such as Jean Music and Ismael Mata and his Song 5, groups that won the applause of those present with high-quality performances.

On the other hand, the Municipal Autonomous Institute of the Environment launched a special cleaning operation that has been responsible for keeping public spaces in good condition during the festivities.
