More than 200 Amazonians benefited from Misión Milagro's eye care day

The Misión Milagro Foundation, the government of the state of Amazonas and the Ministry of Health began the sixth ophthalmological day for cataracts in the state, a medical initiative that planned the care of more than 200 patients with different visual pathologies.
According to a press release, the health operation began this Tuesday, May 26, at the facilities of the Amazonas Surgical Interventions Center, located in the Provincial sector, of the Parhueña parish.
During the activity, citizens received access to free surgical interventions and specialized medical evaluation. This plan is part of the actions contemplated in the New Amazon Plan, a regional strategy that sought to guarantee the well-being and quality of life of the inhabitants of the south of the country through the resolution of surgical debts in ophthalmic matters.
