More than 200 women from the municipality of Los Guayos benefited from the free placement of subdermal contraceptive implants, during a day organized by the Carabobo Te Cuida program, at the Federico García Lorca Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI).

According to information issued by the Government, the activity was carried out by the medical team of the Carabobeño Institute Foundation for Health (INSALUD), in coordination with the People's Power.

In this regard, Rosa Moreno, coordinator of the Southeast Axis of INSALUD, said that “today we begin this health day in Los Guayos, benefiting more than 200 women with this program that promotes family planning. Thanks to the coordination with the communities, we achieved a massive call and close and efficient attention.”

The Carabobo Te Cuida program is an initiative promoted by the State Government, with the objective of guaranteeing access to preventive health and improving the quality of life of the female population throughout the state.
