More than 2,000 kilos of fish were delivered to 19 educational institutions in Higuerote

Through the social program El Cardumen Va, more than 2,000 kilos of fish were delivered to 19 educational institutions in Higuerote, Brión municipality of Miranda state, according to a well-known national newspaper.
According to the publication, this action served 9,500 students from this town in coordination with the municipality's Council of the People's Power of Fishermen and Fishermen Aquaculturists (CONPPA).
The Secretary of Fisheries of the Government of Miranda, Johan Rodríguez, from the Rafael Arévalo González Educational Unit, highlighted the commitment of the CONPPA to generate contributions of marine protein to schools in the region.
During this edition, sports activities were held with the students, and meetings were held with managers of the schools served and with the team of chefs from La Patria, where the manager of the Socialist Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture (INSOPESCA) of Miranda, Marisela Bremus, and the regional coordinator of the Corporation for Fisheries and Aquaculture Services S.A. (CORPESCA), Maidelyn Gago.
