More than 2,000 officials will ensure order in the qualifying round in Lara for the Women's Football World Cup

A total of 2,753 civil servants from the public security agencies will be deployed at the Metropolitan Stadium of Cabudare, in Lara state, to guarantee order and comprehensive protection during the historic qualifying round between Venezuela and Argentina on the way to the Brazil 2027 World Cup, this Tuesday, April 14.
In this regard, the Deputy Minister of Prevention, Public Security and Peace Quadrants, G/D Endes Palencia, led a strategic meeting on security in coordination with the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol), the police forces, the National Risk Management System (SNGR), as well as the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), in order to ensure that each of the attendees experiences this sporting festival with total peace of mind. It should be noted that during the work table, public safety protocols were thoroughly reviewed in order to cover each critical point of the event and ensure order before, during and after the sporting event. In addition, measures were established for the protection of referee personnel, delegations, their families and the Conmebol team, as well as the protection of facilities, adjacent areas, transfers and accommodation for both groups. The Metropolitan Stadium of Cabudare, in Lara state, is preparing to receive an estimated capacity of more than 24,500 spectators and to experience a night of high-level women's soccer. These actions are part of the Great Quadrants of Peace Mission, as a public policy for citizen security led by the Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Captain Diosdado Cabello, who articulates the institutions of the Venezuelan State in terms of the comprehensive protection of the people.
