More than 2,400 families from the community of Pitahaya, in the municipality of Cristóbal Rojas (Charallave), Miranda state, were treated for a full day.
“From our Pitahaya Commune we hold this social day in honor of our patron (of Pitahaya) San Isidro Labrador. We are taking this type of activity to all the communities and streets of the municipality,” said the mayor of Cristóbal Rojas, Yuhismar Hernández.
In this regard, it became known that the Charallavenses enjoyed general medicine and ophthalmology consultations, among other specialties; “medications and advice were also delivered on various family issues,” said the Bolivarian Government of Miranda.
In addition, food and protein were offered at affordable prices and the youngest members of the house enjoyed a recreational space with inflatable mattresses, face painting and children's games.
“Social care was also deployed, on May 9, in the spaces of the National Educational Creation Unit of Charallave, where more than 1,000 women were served, including teachers, administrative staff, workers and mother cooks,” said the mayor, adding that the goal is to serve all older adults, young people, boys, girls and adolescents, so that they can count, every day, on a better quality of life.
