The Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite) in the state of Mérida delivered Small Engineers kits, as part of the National Scientific Semilleros Program, to more than 350 students from the Julio César Salas municipality.

This provision, according to a press release, aims to transform the teaching-learning process and awaken curiosity about science in children and young people at the José Gregorio Rivas Educational Complex.

The president of Fundacite Mérida, Nathaly Mora, reported that ministerial deployment remains active throughout the region to ensure that schools, even in the most remote areas, have first-rate pedagogical tools.

For his part, Aron Mercado, state manager of the National Scientific Seed Program, stressed that these modern resources facilitate the transition from theory to practice directly in the classroom.

The material delivered includes interactive physics tools, such as the wave pendulum, specialized kits from the Chemistry Caravan, checkerboards for cognitive development and bibliographic material on local biodiversity.

These inputs make it possible to simplify the understanding of complex phenomena and promote in students a solid sense of belonging and awareness of environmental conservation from their immediate environment.
