More than 4,000 cadets from the country will participate in the Military Inter-Academy Games that will take place from February 20 to March 3, 2026 in Maracay and Caracas.

According to a press release, this important sporting event will bring together a total of 12 military academies from Caracas, La Guaira, Charallave and Maracay, who will compete in 20 different disciplines.

In this regard, the above-mentioned text indicated that the Minister of Sports, Franklin Cardillo, received in his office the vice-rector for extension of the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela, G/D Jesús Jhoel Sánchez Zambrano, to coordinate the organization and planning of the XXXVII Interacademic Military Games 2026 under the slogan “United for Sovereignty and Peace”.

“It is our duty, obligation, and responsibility to generate all public sports policy, in addition to always paying tribute to the mass of physical activity, so we are going to support him in everything necessary for these games for our soldiers to be held successfully,” said Cardillo.

He also emphasized the potential of military components as a hotbed for future high-performance athletes.
