More than 400 surgeries were performed at the Dr. José Gregorio Hernández Hospital in Las Tejerías (+Maracay)

More than 400 patients received free surgical care at the Dr. José Gregorio Hernández Hospital in Las Tejerías, thanks to an articulated effort between the National, Regional and Local Government.

According to information published by the newspaper Última Noticias, to date, three days have been held at this health center, where low, medium and medium complexity surgeries are treated.

The pathologies treated are hernias, fibroids, ventrations, large lipomas and varicocele; in addition to sterilization and minor procedures for the removal of sebaceous cysts, moles and warts.

In this regard, the mayor, Régulo La Cruz, stressed that the main objective is to provide answers to those who cannot afford these services in the private sector, “we are demonstrating that in Las Tejerías life comes first”.
