More than 40,000 seasonal workers enjoyed the Happy and Safe Carnivals 2025 in the state of Apure

The Governor of Apure State, Wilmer Rodríguez, reported that more than 40,000 tourists have visited the state during the Happy and Safe Carnivals 2025.

In this regard, Rodríguez emphasized that this achievement has been possible thanks to the security measures implemented, guaranteeing a smooth experience for visitors.

“We are in La Macanilla, enjoying safe carnivals, as indicated by our president Nicolás Maduro. These Carnivals 2025 are to be enjoyed with peace of mind, thanks to the security we have managed to implement,” he said.

Among the region's main tourist destinations, he mentioned El Gamero in Alto Apure, which received more than 8,000 visitors, the beaches of Achagua, Playón de San Fernando de Apure and Paseo Santos.

The governor called on tourists to maintain road awareness and sanity during their stay and when returning to their homes, prioritizing the safety of families and visitors. “Our priority is to ensure happy and safe carnivals for everyone. Let's continue to work together to achieve this,” he concluded.
