More than 50 countries around the world will discuss the climate crisis in Venezuela

A total of 56 countries around the world attend the World Congress in Defense of Mother Earth, to be held in Caracas-Venezuela from October 09 to 10, 2025.
The conference will address the climate crisis and the
prevailing socio-economic model, with the participation of more than 3,000 national and
international delegates from 56 countries around the world.
On
the subject, many delegates proposed to discuss based on the following
questions: Climate Crisis, a technological, financial or
profoundly political problem? Also, Energy Transition, do the
peoples of the Global South have it easy? Another such as the Reduction of Greenhouse Gases,
do industrialized countries have a real interest in committing to this pending
task? and Climate Justice, is the responsibility the same for the
countries of the North and the countries of the South? , reviews a press release from the Ministry of
Ecosocialism.
Likewise, they propose to talk about
vulnerability to the impacts of global warming and other effects of the Climate
Crisis, is it the same for the rich and for the poor? and can the
extractive model be compatible with satisfying needs with respect for the rights
of nature?
During those two days, Venezuela will become the epicenter of the global discussion of other central issues such as: Biodiversity at risk; The rights of Mother Earth; Socio-environmental conflicts and human rights; Pollution and waste; Sustainable economy; Education and environmental culture; Intergenerational justice and youth; and international alliances and concrete actions.
