More than 500 creators participated in the Intellectual Property Registration Meeting

In the Juan Bautista Plaza Room of the National
Library of Venezuela, Caracas, the team of the Ministry of
Popular Power of National Commerce, through the Autonomous
Intellectual Property Service (SAPI), and the Cultural Service, held a
Training Meeting on the Registration of Intellectual Property for more than 500
artists, cultivators and creators from Caracas.
Through the Instagram social network of the
Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, it was highlighted that the activity was led
by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Karen Millán, and the Deputy Minister of Distribution and Commerce
and general director of SAPI, Hendrick Perdomo Colmenares, who
explained the procedures for easily and quickly registering intellectual works.
With this initiative, the Great Mission
Viva Venezuela, My Beloved Homeland reaffirms its commitment to the
development of the country's creative and cultural economy, in line with its number two
apex, “Economy for Cultures”.
In addition, by promoting the registration of intellectual property, it seeks to generate added value to national creations and to strengthen the cultural sector as an engine of economic and social development.
