More than
500 people enjoyed the 13th edition of the Venezuelan Dance Festival in the Emma Soler Room of the Cecilio Acosta Cultural Complex,
in Los Teques, Miranda state.
According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the activity, organized
by the group Danza El Rincón de Venezuela, brought together more than 100 dancers
from different locations in Miranda and Caracas, who offered
the public a wide repertoire of traditional dance events.
During
the day, the participants demonstrated the high technical and artistic level that
characterizes the cultivators of traditional Venezuelan dance, in addition
to ratifying the commitment of the groups to the preservation and dissemination of cultural heritage.
This activity was also accompanied by the governor of the state of Miranda, Elio
Serrano, who stressed the importance of keeping
cultural spaces active for community encounters and the strengthening of artistic
expressions.
“The
holding of this festival in the Emma Soler Room, with the participation of
groups from Guarenas, Caracas and Los Teques, demonstrates the
convening capacity of our popular cultivators. From the Regional Executive
, we are committed to supporting these initiatives and offering the necessary public
infrastructure for the healthy recreation, training and
encounter of Mirandina families,” he said.
This festival included the participation of groups such as Danzas Urimare, from Guarenas; the Patria Querida Dance Foundation, from Caracas; as well as Studio Full Dance, Genial Dance and Danza El Rincón de Venezuela, representatives of Los Teques.
