A total of 63 Palestinians died this Thursday in various attacks carried out by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip, regional media reported.
The victims included 28 people who were in supply distribution areas, according to reports from the Safa news agency. In addition, 13 individuals lost their lives and dozens were injured during an air operation against the Mustafa Hafez school, where displaced persons were staying in the northern city of Gaza.
In another incident, six civilians were hit by projectiles fired by Israeli troops while waiting for assistance near the Nabulsi roundabout, also in that town.
In Khan Yunis, south of the enclave, three deaths and multiple people injured were reported after an attack on makeshift camps located in the immediate vicinity of the Al-Barakah sector, within the Al-Majayda neighborhood, according to Prensa Latina.
On the other hand, a military incursion into Jabalia left one dead and at least three injured, according to local sources.
Since the beginning of hostilities in October 2023, official figures record more than 57,000 dead, more than 134,000 injured and nearly 11,000 missing in Palestinian territory.
Several international organizations and leaders have recently expressed their rejection of the offensive and have warned about the humanitarian situation affecting the population in that sector.
