More than 600 older
adults in the state of Trujillo
have been treated by the Sonrisa Mission with the delivery of 122 dental
prostheses free of charge.
According to information published on
the web portal of the newspaper Último Noticias, the
beneficiaries were recruited through the VenApp platform of the 1×10 Good Government
and the Grandparents and Grandmothers of the
Homeland Mission.
The first fighter and director of the El Niño Simón Regional
Foundation, Reyna Pérez de Márquez, specified
that so far this year comprehensive care has been provided to 1,894 patients
in the 20 municipalities of the state.
Pérez de Márquez added that the year 2025 closed with a balance of
11,999 patients treated and 456 prostheses delivered to the entity.
“We continue to work with our heart, because a healthy smile not only improves health, it illuminates the soul and transforms lives,” he emphasized.
