More than 700 professionals participated in the II Regional Nursing Congress in Guárico

A total of 700 health professionals attended the installation of the II Regional Nursing Congress 2026 in the spaces of the Simón Bolívar Theater in San Juan de los Morros, an academic event that brought together delegations from the 15 municipalities of the state of Guárico to optimize clinical protocols in the llanera entity.

The scientific agenda of the event included a cycle of 18 presentations by specialists, who addressed cutting-edge issues, comprehensive patient care and healthcare methodologies.

In this regard, the sectoral vice-president of Science, Technology, Ecosocialism and Health, Isabel Iturria, who stressed that “this meeting makes it possible to advance academically and professionally, in the midst of adversity and blockade; we continue to provide spaces and tools as a united body for the direct benefit of Venezuelan families.”

For his part, Governor Donald Donaire emphasized the importance of this type of academic-care activities to optimize medical service in the territory.

It should be noted that the Regional Nursing Congress seeks to enhance the human, ethical, emotional and scientific preparation of health personnel, with a view to optimizing comprehensive medical care in each healthcare center.
