More than 990 kilos of wildlife meat products were confiscated in Barinas

Through two actions aimed at detecting the illegal hunting, use and commercialization of salty protein, slime and chigüire, 990.7 kilos of meat products from wildlife were seized in the state of Barinas.

This was reported by the State channel, Venezolana de Televisión. The information was published on the official account of the social network Instagram, of the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism (MINEC), in which he reported that the first procedure was carried out in the city of Barinas, where officials from MINEC and the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), located a total of 7 baskets containing 270.70 kilograms of chigüire.

As for the second seizure, the Pedraza municipality occurred, where members of the Zone Command No. 33 of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) detected 26 salty pieces of slime weighing 170 kilos and 39 salty pieces of chigüire equivalent to 550 kilograms.
