More than a thousand athletes participate in Gran Fondo Batalla de Carabobo

This Sunday morning at Paseo Los Próceres, in the city of Caracas, the 5th edition of the Gran Fondo Batalla de Carabobo began, a cycling activity in which more than a thousand athletes travel 200 km, until they reach the Campo de Carabobo, in the homonymous entity.

This activity, which is carried out to commemorate the Battle of Carabobo 205 years ago, pays historic homage to Venezuela's independence feat.

It is an ultra-distance test (greater than 100 km) that usually requires about 192 kilometers of pedaling, designed to test the physical and mental endurance of the participants.
