The Venezuelan Professional Football League (FUTVE League) and the sports journalism union expressed their deep regret after confirming the death of Jairo Adolfo Dávila Mogollón, a renowned social communicator, broadcaster and sports commentator with a long and respected career on radio in the state of Táchira.
In a statement published on social networks, the president of the FUTVE League, Ernesto Muller, together with the entire board of directors and the national football community, regretted the communicator's physical departure, highlighting his permanent commitment and commitment to sports in the Andean region.
“We want to express our regret over the death of our good friend Jairo Adolfo Dávila Mogollón, who in his lifetime was a reference voice in Tachirense broadcasting, committed to the coverage of Venezuelan football and, in particular, of his beloved aurinegro,” said the FUTVE League in its letter.
He also sent his condolences to the Dávila family and their close circle.
Deportivo Táchira also mourned the death of Dávila Mogollón and in a statement said: “Jairo Dávila was part of a dynasty of communicators dedicated to sports. His departure leaves an indelible gap in the Tachirense sports microphone and in the hearts of those who had the honor of sharing moments, anecdotes and a beautiful friendship with him.

Dávila Mogollón has established himself over the years as one of the most emblematic and beloved analytical voices in Andean broadcasting. Legendary sports storyteller dedicated much of his professional practice to the careful monitoring, analysis and coverage of national football and Deportivo Táchira.
