MPPC extended registration for the Elsa Morales Art Salon until July 26

The Ministry of Popular Power for Culture (MPPC) extended until next Sunday, July 26, the reception of works by Venezuelan plastic artists who have not yet been able to formalize their registration in the National Art Salon “Elsa Morales” 2026.
According to information from the Ministry for Culture, the process of receiving pieces and registration will continue to take place from 9:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon at the different reception centers, including the National Art Gallery (GAN), in the city of Caracas.
It should be noted that there are also centers located in Anzoátegui, Aragua, Barinas, Bolívar, Carabobo, Falcón, Guárico, Lara, Mérida, Monagas, Sucre, Táchira, Trujillo, Yaracuy and Zulia. The reception locations are detailed through social networks, by the @salon .nacionaldelarte account.
The rules of the competition are available on the Instagram accounts of the responsible institutions, as well as on the official platforms of the MPPC (@minculturave) and the National Museums Foundation (FMN), through the @fundacionmuseos account.
The different disciplines allowed are: drawing, painting, graphic arts, video art, installations, fire arts, sculpture, digital assembly, sound art, textile art, photography, folk art and body art.
This second edition of the “Elsa Morales” National Art Salon pays homage to this award-winning Venezuelan artist and poet, who for decades has been a reference for plastic arts and letters throughout Venezuela.
