Mukumbarí cable car becomes a center for carnival experiences

During these festivities, the Mukumbarí Cable Car, in the Sierra Nevada Park, in Mérida, is transformed into a center of unforgettable experiences. At each station, visitors will receive Tourist Information Points, where they will find brochures so they can learn about the history and curiosities of the Cable Car System.

It is worth noting that the Mukumbarí Cable Car is one of the most important projects built in the country to strengthen the tourism sector. It is so far the longest and tallest in the world, with 4,765 meters high and more than 14,500 square meters of construction.

Tourists will be able to enjoy the Sierra Nevada Park, which is a wonderful natural landscape covering an area of 276,446 hectares, shared in six municipalities in the state of Mérida and three in the state of Barinas, of which 185,886 belong to the Andean state, which means 67.2% of the total area, while the rest of the 90,560 hectares correspond to the Llanera entity, 32.8% of the park's surface.
