The Mukumbari Cable Car System in Mérida announced the temporary suspension of its commercial activities, due to electromechanical maintenance.

From Monday 10 to Thursday 13 March, scheduled electromechanical maintenance work will be carried out to ensure the safety of users.

Through social networks, the Telephone System reported that services will resume on Friday, March 14. “We will be ready to offer a safe and comfortable experience at the facilities,” the institution says on social media.

The Mukumbarí Cable Car System is one of Mérida's main attractions, it is recognized as the highest in the world after reaching 4,765 meters above sea level, with a distance of 12.5 kilometers.
