With the purpose of guaranteeing the right to health to more than 400 people who live in Las Tejerías de Aragua, the Municipal Surgical Plan is being carried out in an articulated effort between the national, regional and local governments, in order to deal with cases of low and medium complexity.
In this regard, from the Dr. José Gregorio Hernández Hospital, a multidisciplinary medical-surgical team has been deployed, made up of more than 500 health workers, who carry out surgical interventions for hernias, fibroids, eventration, large lipomas, varicocele, sterilizations and sebaceous cysts, moles and warts.
The mayor of the jurisdiction, Régulo La Cruz, has supervised the development of the three days that have taken place to date, in order to ensure that effective responses are being provided to the needs of the people.
“It's not just an operation, it's about giving peace of mind to a father, a mother or a young person who couldn't afford these services in the private sector. Here we are, together with our health personnel, demonstrating that in Las Tejerías, life comes first,” said La Cruz.
