Musicians from El Sistema will give training workshops in Nicaragua

A delegation from the Venezuelan National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs (El Sistema) began, this Tuesday in Managua, an extensive training agenda, which includes workshops in several emblematic cities of Nicaragua.

The agenda includes training meetings in Granada, Masaya and other cities in the Central American nation, the organizers said.

The visit is part of the Musical Cooperation Agreement signed between Venezuela and Nicaragua, in September 2023, during the II World Congress of The System developed in Caracas.

Venezuelan musicians will provide academic and professional training programs to girls, boys and young people. The delegation of El Sistema will fulfill the training agenda until May 20, the Venezuelan embassy in Nicaragua reported.
