Nahum Fernández reinaugurated the Cecilio Acosta Educational Unit in Antímano

Fernández specified that more than 85% of schools have already recovered in Caracas

The head of Government of Caracas (GDC), Nahum Fernández, reinaugurated the Cecilio Acosta Educational Unit, in the Antímano parish of Caracas, whose comprehensive recovery was carried out by the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES).

On his Instagram account, Fernández pointed out that in the context of the School Recovery Plan promoted by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, “we have deployed to the EU Cecilio Acosta, in the Antímano parish.

“The BRICOMILES have carried out important interventions throughout the infrastructure, with the objective of continuing to promote quality education for our boys and girls,” he said.

He reported that the institution underwent restoration work on internal and external walls, roof waterproofing, replacement of luminaires, painting and cleaning of the environment, improvement of the cooling system and also the provision of computers.

Fernández said that in Caracas, more than 85% of schools have already recovered through BRICOMILES, through coordination between the Popular Power, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the work teams of the GDC.
