Nahum Fernández: The 13th the People grew up and took up the defense of the constitution

For the Head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, on April 13, 2002, “the people grew up and took up the defense of the National Constitution to defend Commander Hugo Chávez”.

“22 years later we remember how Caracas was filled with people, that day I asked to see Chávez and demanded that they return it, while the right came running and fleeing from the Miraflores Palace,” he said.

Fernández added that “today we tell the right that here is a people standing firm with Nicolás Maduro and if they look for shortcuts and call for death, here we are the ones who invoke love, life and defend the spirit of the Fatherland”.
