The head of the Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, accompanied the people to pay homage to Commander Hugo Chávez, regarding the 12 years since his planting.

In this regard, Fernández specified that every March 5, the Giant of the Revolution commemorates the passage to immortality, an action that “left us a Chávez who is eternal, who loved the poor, who loved his neighbor, who is the Chávez who embraced the neighborhoods of Caracas, who embraced the peasants and is the Chávez who gave him a helping hand and who gave the voice to the one who had no voice”.

In addition, he indicated that the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution represents a genuine transformation of republican men and women that generated a new way of doing politics based on values and the defense of sovereignty.

He also stressed that the Commander lives in youth and those who, thanks to the policies of the Revolution, continue to study for free, while specifying that the Bolivarian Government has created all the conditions for human beings to grow and develop.
