The Vice President of Mobilization and Events of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nahúm Fernández, during a cantata for peace and in support of President Nicolás Maduro in the parish of Coche, Caracas, asserted that if imperialism tries something against the current head of state millions of Chavistas would take to the streets to defend the Bolivarian Revolution.
“Imperialism and its lackeys despise us because they still see Bolivar in us and that's how they will continue to see him for many years because here what is left in the future is communal government, here what is left is communal force, here what is left is the People governing in the communities, it is a government of the People and let the United States see that socialism rules in Venezuela,” he said.
He added that the Chavista forces in the street will continue to demonstrate that they remain happy, cheerful and sing to the Revolution in response to the infamies and calumnies that the United States has been plotting against Venezuela and that reveal unhealthy omissions with respect to the anti-drug policy of the Bolivarian government.
