National and international political parties join in condemning the military attack carried out by the United States against Venezuela, early this Saturday, January 3.

The National Committee of the Christian Democratic Party (COPEI), through a statement, expressed its firm rejection of the recent acts of aggression undertaken by the United States against Venezuela. “We consider that such measures violate the sovereignty, dignity and inalienable right of our people to freely decide their destiny,” he emphasized.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to the defense of peace, mutual respect and democratic coexistence. “We call on all Venezuelans, regardless of ideologies or political positions, to unite around the values of justice, freedom and solidarity,” he added.

For its part, the Free Party of Honduras condemned with absolute firmness the savage attack of the North American empire against the Venezuelan people and their Bolivarian Revolution.

“Imperialists will be able to bomb cities, impose criminal sanctions and unleash war, but they can never assassinate the history, dignity, or sovereign will of the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean,” said Manuel Zelaya, a member of the Free Party through X.

Meanwhile, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela also strongly condemned the imperialist aggression, which “confirms the escalation of war by the American government” and its absolute disregard for international law, the self-determination of peoples and peace in Latin America and the Caribbean.

“The attacks have been aimed at airports and other strategic points, constituting a serious violation of national sovereignty and an act of direct military aggression against the Venezuelan people,” says the statement issued by the party through X.

On the other hand, through its Telegram account, the Anti-Fascist International, Bolivia chapter condemned the military aggression of the United States, perpetrated against the states of Aragua, Miranda, La Guaira and in the capital city Caracas.

“This fact constitutes a serious threat not only to Venezuelan sovereignty, but also to peace, stability and democratic coexistence throughout Latin America and the Caribbean,” the document states.

He added that Venezuela is once again the target of a policy of aggression that ignores international law and seeks to subject sovereign nations to the interests of an elite that considers itself to own the planet.
