National Anti-Drug Superintendency deployed 14,000 officials for Carnival in Carabobo

The National Anti-Drug Superintendent, Danny Ferrer, announced the deployment of more than 14,000 officials in the state of Carabobo as part of a special operation aimed at ensuring safety and healthy enjoyment during the carnival festivities.
During his statement, the Superintendent urged citizens to maintain preventive measures and to celebrate in an environment of peace and restraint, recalling the importance of enjoying these days off in a responsible manner.
“This deployment is the result of a joint effort that allows us to ensure that our citizens can enjoy themselves in healthy peace. We call for restraint, to enjoy with conscience and to plan to return to their homes in a safe manner,” said Ferrer.
He also stressed that military and police authorities in the region are already coordinating actions for the return of citizens at the end of the festivities.
In this regard, he noted that preventive and guidance mechanisms will continue to be adjusted to ensure the well-being of all Venezuelans who participate in the celebrations.
The National Anti-Drug Superintendency reaffirms its commitment to the Venezuelan people and calls for them to continue enjoying themselves in a healthy way, complying with established regulations to preserve peace and security on these holidays.
