The board of directors of the National Assembly (AN), through the Energy and Petroleum Commission of the legislative body, informed the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, of the approval of the Bill for the Partial Reform of the Organic Law on Hydrocarbons, which seeks to develop the maximum capacities of the oil sector.
Through a letter, the AN reported on this reform aimed at regulating everything related to the exploration, extraction, collection, transport, storage, processing, improvement, refining, industrialization, commercialization, conservation and comprehensive use of hydrocarbons.
This legislative advance comes in a scenario of national resistance, following the U.S. military attack against the country, on January 3, when more than 100 Venezuelans were murdered and President Nicolás Maduro and the first lady, Cilia Flores, were kidnapped.
