National Enlistment Day featured the patriotism of the Neo-Spartans

The People of Nueva Esparta were present at the National Enlistment Day to reaffirm their will to defend the country's sovereignty and peace and in rejection of the threats of North American imperialism.

The people who from this entity that earned its name because of the fierceness of its fighters who resisted the armies of the Spanish empire for decades, went to the Bolivar squares of the 11 municipalities that make up the island entity to join the ranks of the Bolivarian Militia.

This Saturday, the first day of this day of enlistment took place, which was described as “a total success” by President Nicolás Maduro, who stressed that once again the will for peace and sovereignty of the Venezuelan people is demonstrated.
