National Government delivered medicines and comprehensive medical care to communities in Guárico

Residents of the Camoruco community, in Altagracia de Orituco, received comprehensive medical care and medicines free of charge through a territorial deployment promoted by the Ministry of Health (MinSalud), in order to ensure direct clinical assistance to the vulnerable sectors of the Guariqueña entity.

During the day, men, women and children received personalized consultations in various specialties of medicine, immunization and screening for chronic diseases

The Single Health Authority of the region, Mr. Jesús Rojas, reported, according to a press release, that health personnel are constantly deployed house-to-house in the various municipalities to increase the quality of life of the population and prevent metaxenic diseases.

“We execute these comprehensive days under the strictest clinical protocols to ensure that each inhabitant has their therapeutic treatments in a timely manner,” said Rojas, after confirming the application of vaccine doses and deworming.

On the other hand, the technical committee of the National Institute of Nutrition (INN) actively participated in the conference through the anthropometric evaluation of weight and height. In addition, officials delivered dietary supplements and gave pedagogical sessions on the use of nutritional products developed by the institution for the benefit of the people.
